Are you an experienced Class 2 Building Control Surveyor looking for your next contract opportunity? We’re working with a dynamic local authority in the West Midlands seeking a knowledgeable and proactive professional to join their team.
The Role:
As a key member of the Building Control team, you’ll be responsible for:
Managing a varied caseload of domestic and low-rise commercial applications
Carrying out site inspections to ensure compliance with Building Regulations
Advising applicants, architects, and contractors
Ensuring high standards of health, safety, and accessibility across developments
Maintaining detailed records and supporting the delivery of excellent service
Requirements:
Class 2 Building Control Surveyor status with the BSR
Strong working knowledge of current Building Regulations
Proven experience in a local authority or private sector setting
Excellent communication and time management skills
Access to own vehicle
