I have had a Construction client reach out to my this morning with a need of an interim FD to start by the 18th of January.
This role will be part-time for 3-6 months, Outside IR35.
Responsibilities:
Controls & Payments:
Development, implementation and maintenance of robust financial controls and business processes, including inputting on the management of the company’s consolidated cashflow forecasting.
Prepare and present JV financial reports, performance dashboards, and variance analysis.
Compliance:
Setting up new financial systems and processes to ensure; i) clear and consistent financial reporting to the Partnership, and; ii) make sure the company stay within the financial controls and authority levels of the Partnership governance structure.
Accurate and timely management of all compliance matters – including statutory accounts, Companies House filing, all direct (e.g. corporation tax) and indirect tax (VAT) matters. Preparation and submission of VAT returns and handling of any related matters. Preparation of year-end financial statements. Ability to handle queries from the auditors and liaise where required.
Experience in Construction is a must.
