Are you a skilled Class 2 Building Control Surveyor ready to take on a long-term contract in a thriving local authority? We are currently recruiting for a forward-thinking council in the North West, offering an excellent opportunity with stability, strong support, and a competitive hourly rate of up to £65.
Role Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of domestic and low-rise commercial applications
Conducting inspections to ensure compliance with current Building Regulations
Providing expert advice to applicants, developers, and contractors
Preparing accurate reports and maintaining comprehensive records
Working collaboratively within a professional, customer-focused team
Essential Requirements:
Class 2 registration (RICS, CABE, or equivalent)
Strong technical knowledge of the Building Regulations and associated legislation
Proven experience in a similar local authority or private sector role
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
