Interim Asset Manager

Main Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the Repairs and Maintenance team
  • Knowledge of leases and contracts in order to advise and mitigate longstanding disputes with third parties
  • Oversight of the cyclical and major works programmes including S20
  • Reporting to internal Committees and Boards
  • Detailed knowledge of procurement and new contract submissions
  • Management of the internal audit programme
  • Oversight of the stock condition update and decent homes positions
  • Management of any latent defects

The Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience in asset management within the housing sector.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional service to residents and communities.
  • Great operation experience within a repairs setting
