About the Role:

We are working with a well-established Housing Association in the Manchester area who are looking for an experienced Income Officer to strengthen their team. • Take appropriate enforcement action where arrears persist, including preparing and serving legal notices, producing court documentation, and attending hearings

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across housing management, tenancy sustainment, and external partner agencies to provide a joined-up service for residents

  • Maintain accurate case records, monitoring arrears levels and producing performance reports as required

  • Ensure all actions are taken in line with legislation, policies, and procedures while maintaining a customer-focused approach

  • Balance the need for income collection with empathy and support, helping residents remain in their homes wherever possible
