IAM Business Analyst – Financial Services
Location: Brussels (Hybrid – 2 days on-site per week)
Contract: 12 months (+ possible extension)

Role Summary
As an IAM Business Analyst, you will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) governance. You’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT security teams to ensure that role-based access across the organization is structured, consistent, and compliant.
Your main objective will be to translate business functions into clear, auditable, and standardized role definitions, maintaining a centralized repository that supports both security and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the IAM Lead, IT, and compliance teams to align access control with business processes and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews and workshops with department leads and key stakeholders to gather access and role-related information.
- Analyze business processes and job functions to identify access needs and responsibilities.
- Define, document, and maintain business roles with associated permissions and access requirements.
- Collaborate with IAM and IT teams to align role definitions with access control policies and governance standards.
- Maintain a centralized and up-to-date repository of business roles.
- Identify opportunities for role optimization and standardization across departments.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and traceable IAM documentation.
- Promote role-based access control (RBAC) best practices through training and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, and financial regulatory standards).
Requirements
Hard Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Business Analysis, Identity & Access Management (IAM), or Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Experience with role mining, role engineering, or IAM frameworks.
- Familiarity with IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, OneIdentity, or Azure AD).
- Understanding of compliance requirements such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and internal audit standards.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; French or Dutch knowledge is an advantage.
