Job Title:Â HSE Supervisor

Contract Duration: End of April 2026 – End of December 2026
Working Hours:Â 45 hours per week (Mid-afternoon to 10:00 PM shifts)
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Supervisor to support ongoing works on a major LNG terminal project in Brunsbüttel. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and overseeing site safety during afternoon and evening operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and legal requirements on-site
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Supervise site activities to ensure safe working practices are followed
- Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident investigations
- Report and document incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with site teams and management to continuously improve safety performance
- Ensure all personnel comply with PPE and site safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HSE role, ideally within large-scale industrial or energy projects
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- German or Portuguese language skills preferred
- Ability to work mid-afternoon to evening shifts (up to 10:00 PM)
- EU passport holder or permanent resident of Germany
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent) preferred
As there is already a HSE Manager on-site, the client is also willing to consider HSE Engineers or Officers for this position.
