- Implement a safe management system in respect of construction activities and German Laws and regulations.
- Advise and consult the construction site on implementation of the H&S Management System in accordance with ISO 45001. Give independent advice (wanted/unwanted) to ensure H&S compliance including legal requirements, BA Wind & SoBa H&S ambition and industry best practice (this professional functions fully independently) . To be able to advise the site to ensure high HS standards are met on site and Vattenfall and the contractors achieve a minimum standard of at least legal compliance.
- Ensure Documented daily H&S walks are completed with our management and contractors, and workplace inspections, report findings in written reports with photographs of findings to management and on Intelex. Also to give advice and provide close out action confirmation.
- Follow VF standards , policies and local legislation to complete all required H&S responsibilities.
- Provide advice on site to BU Solar and Battery to continually improve their H&S performance
- Cooperate with the Electrical safety specialist & Environmental specialist.
- Deliver H&S programs for the implementation of H&S strategies, plans, regulations and standards within the supported area of activities.
- Report accidents and incidents and investigate root causes in accordance with German legislation.
- Carry out H&S Inspections and Audits when required and on completion produce written reports.
- Carry out Safety pre- assessments
- Provide coordination between Vattenfall, contractors and third parties according to the H&S plan.
- Provide reports for team and project meetings for assigned area and projects.
- Provide task based and generic risk assessments for operational activities. Support in HIRA/DRA
- H&S Safety coaching to project teams being supported
- Deliver H&S specific training and inductions toolbox talks and recommend local trainings
- Provide a emergency response plan and arrangements and liaise with emergency services and ensure the site management test, review the EMP regular
- Gather H&S information for H&S KPIs and reporting and perform analysis to identify trends , also report monthly on Dashboard.
- Review and monitor HSE plans and all relevant documentation received from contractors and monitor contractor H&S performance.
- Ensure the registering system is in place
- Provide feedback with Lessons Learned.
