Company Overview
A large international contractor delivering a new data centre construction project in Southern Denmark. The project is fast-paced and operates to high HSE standards.

Role Overview
The HSE Manager will act as the lead Health, Safety & Environment representative on site, supporting project and site management teams to ensure full compliance with HSE legislation, client requirements, and best practices from project start through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead HSE representative on the data centre construction project

  • Support project and site management teams on all HSE-related matters

  • Ensure compliance with local legislation, permits, and client HSE requirements

  • Lead risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, and site inspections

  • Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership on site

  • Manage and coordinate HSE reporting, audits, and corrective actions

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HSE Manager on large construction or data centre projects

  • Strong working knowledge of HSE legislation and site-based safety management

  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-risk construction environments

Essential

  • NEBOSH qualification

  • Eligibility to work in Denmark (EU or Denmark work permit)

  • Fluent in English

  • Available to start immediately

Desirable

  • Danish language skills

  • Previous data centre project experience
