HSE Manager (Safety Level 1 – Environment A)

Work Pattern: 5 days per week on site (flexibility for 1 remote day)

Role Overview
An established organisation operating within a regulated Environment A setting is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead and manage Health, Safety, and Environment activities at a key site in Brussels. The role requires Safety Level 1 certification and strong on-site presence to support operations, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) activities on site
Ensure compliance with local and European HSE legislation and internal standards
Act as the primary point of contact for HSE matters with internal stakeholders and external authorities
Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and improvement plans
Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness initiatives
Support operational teams in maintaining a strong safety culture
Prepare reports, KPIs, and documentation for management review
Required Qualifications & Experience
Certified Safety Level 1
Proven experience as an HSE Manager in a regulated or industrial environment (Environment A)
Strong knowledge of Belgian HSE legislation and best practices
Hands-on, site-focused profile with the ability to influence at all levels
Experience managing audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions
Language Requirements
French or Dutch required
French preferred
