Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Compliance Specialist to join our team on a freelance (ZZP) basis. The successful candidate will provide operational and administrative support to the HSE department and assist HSE Engineers in maintaining and improving site compliance with internal and external standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day compliance and administrative support to the HSE department.
- Maintain and update HSE systems, databases, and documentation.
- Prepare and deliver accurate reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the coordination and execution of internal and external audits.
- Monitor regulatory and internal compliance deadlines, ensuring timely completion of required actions.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to HSE compliance.
Requirements
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
- Background in HSE, compliance, or a related role within a regulated or pharmaceutical environment.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and document control processes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Essential
- Proven experience supporting HSE or compliance functions.
- Strong understanding of documentation and audit processes.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or English regulatory frameworks.
