We are seeking a reliable and motivated Housing Officer to join our team and help us provide safe, secure, and supportive housing services. This is a key front line role where you’ll work directly with tenants, carry out property checks, and ensure that housing standards are met.
You’ll be responsible for managing a caseload of properties, addressing tenant concerns, and supporting individuals to maintain their tenancies. This role involves regular site visits, liaising with contractors, and responding to incidents such as anti-social behaviour or maintenance issues.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct routine property inspections and report on condition and compliance
Support tenants with day-to-day housing needs and tenancy-related issues
Coordinate minor repairs and follow up on maintenance requests
Handle complaints and escalate safeguarding or welfare concerns appropriately
Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date
