Housing Officer

We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive Housing Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties and supporting tenants to ensure safe, well-maintained housing. You’ll conduct property inspections, handle minor repairs, resolve tenant issues, and ensure compliance with housing standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a calm and professional approach to problem-solving, and experience working with diverse or vulnerable individuals. Prior housing experience is beneficial, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out regular property inspections and identify maintenance issues
Support tenants with housing-related concerns and queries
Respond to reports of anti-social behaviour and safeguarding matters
Ensure all properties meet required health, safety, and compliance standards
Liaise with contractors and service providers to resolve maintenance issues
