Our client, a medium sized Housing Association in Oxfordshire, is looking for experienced Housing Development Consultant to oversee a number of new housing development projects.
You will be instrumental in assisting the identification, procurement and delivery of new development schemes. This will include project managing individual development schemes from inception to completion and throughout the full defects liability period.

You will be responsible for assisting in identifying and then acquiring land and property, as well as providing effective contract management and financial control across various projects for all different tenures.
You will manage a range of projects that are focused on delivering development schemes across the areas we operate in ensuring there are arrangements for the provision of affordable housing within these schemes.
In this senior role you will have responsibility to specify and deliver programme plans and manage the day-to-day operations of the projects you supervise. You will have full project management responsibility and will be expected to carefully manage programme expenditure in accordance with the programme budget and in line with funding procedures.
You will represent ourselves with external stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth project delivery and you will be expected to manage risk within your area of responsibility and ensure all stakeholders are aware of and comply with relevant regulations and procedures.
At all times you will be expected to implement robust contract management procedures and work towards ensuring projects are sustainable and income streams are developed to ensure long term investment.
To be successful in this role you will need to have significant experience in dealing with a range of complex and contentious matters requiring a consistently high degree of support, persuasion and advocacy and an awareness of major policy objectives.
