We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Development Manager to join a leading Housing Association in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity to help deliver affordable, high-quality homes and lead impactful regeneration across the region.
The Role:
As Development Manager, you will:
✅ Lead housing development projects from inception through to completion, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery.
✅ Source and appraise new land-led and partnership opportunities, preparing viability assessments and securing funding.
✅ Work collaboratively with local councils, developers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to shape successful schemes.
✅ Ensure developments meet planning, regulatory, and quality standards, with a focus on sustainability and community benefit.
✅ Oversee risk management, programme tracking, and budget control across your portfolio.
✅ Contribute to team development by mentoring junior colleagues and supporting continuous improvement.
About You:
We’re looking for a confident and capable professional with:
✔ Solid experience in housing development, regeneration, or property-led project management.
✔ Knowledge of the North West’s housing landscape, including planning policy and funding streams.
✔ Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
✔ A proactive mindset and a passion for delivering homes that make a real difference.
✔ A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed across the region.
