Senior Health & Safety Consultant – 12 Month Contract – 3 days p/w
Are you an experienced Health & Safety Consultant looking for your next opportunity to make a real impact within a leading organisation?
We are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Consultant to provide expert support to a corporate client, helping to drive operational excellence through effective Health & Safety Management Systems, continuous improvement, and practical solutions.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the potential for extension. Rates are negotiable depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for UK Health & Safety matters.
- Lead, maintain and continuously improve the organisation’s Health & Safety Management System.
- Provide practical, value-adding solutions beyond compliance and “box ticking”.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to influence positive safety improvements.
- Interpret and apply UK and Ireland Health & Safety legislation.
- Support the development of a proactive and forward-thinking safety culture.
About You:
- Experienced Health & Safety professional with strong consultancy or client-facing experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Confident working with senior leadership teams.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation (Ireland experience advantageous).
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent) essential.
- Working towards or holding a Level 6 Health & Safety qualification desirable.
