Interim Head of Assets – Social Housing Provider (North West)
Are you an experienced leader ready to take charge of a housing provider’s asset strategy in the North West? We are looking for an Interim Head of Assets to lead the planning, delivery, and performance of our housing portfolio, ensuring our homes remain safe, efficient, and future-ready. This is a high-impact role, offering the chance to shape long-term investment priorities, improve service delivery, and drive sustainability initiatives.
In this role, you will oversee Asset Management, Capital Investment, Energy, Environmental Services, and Home Improvement functions. You will be responsible for managing multi-million-pound programmes, guiding procurement and energy management, and acting as the client for repairs services. You will also lead and inspire teams while collaborating closely with internal colleagues, the Council, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions and secure funding for investment projects.
We are looking for someone with:
• Demonstrable leadership in asset management within social housing.
• In-depth knowledge of construction, project management, and business planning in the housing sector.
• Experience managing substantial budgets and delivering long-term asset strategies.
• A collaborative, problem-solving approach to achieve results.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM 2015.
