GL Accountant (Freelance) – Overijse
We are currently looking for a Freelance GL Accountant to join a growing, multi-site organization in the healthcare sector. This role offers a mix of on-site and remote work and sits within a dynamic finance team supporting multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close for 8–12 entities
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform P&L closing by the 8th working day
- Handle VAT and tax declarations in line with Belgian regulations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting
Profile:
- 5–7 years of experience in a GL accounting role
- Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP, VAT, and tax processes
- Fluent in Dutch and French
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines
