About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Front-End Developer to join our team at a leading manufacturing company in Ghent. This is a freelance role where you will play a pivotal part in driving the front-end development of enterprise-grade applications, ensuring best practices, and mentoring the team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of modern, scalable front-end solutions using Angular.
Collaborate closely with back-end teams working in .NET to deliver seamless, integrated applications.
Provide coaching and guidance to developers, fostering knowledge-sharing and a culture of technical excellence.
Define and implement best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
Oversee code reviews, ensure performance optimization, and guarantee maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Lead Front-End Developer with strong Angular expertise.
Solid understanding of .NET and how it integrates with front-end solutions.
Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and lead technical teams.
Strong experience working in enterprise frameworks or environments (a major plus).
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on clean architecture and maintainability.
Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written).
Ability to work onsite in Ghent 3 days per week.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Knowledge of UX/UI best practices.
