FP&A Specialist (Maternity Leave Cover)

Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on FP&A Specialist to join our finance team on a long-term maternity leave cover assignment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, partnering with multiple sales organizations, and delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the monthly financial closing process, performance analysis, and business partnering, while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day financial analysis and reporting.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
• Analyse financial performance, identify variances, and provide meaningful insights.
• Work closely with sales organizations to understand and explain revenue, cost, and margin variances.
• Prepare and maintain sales reporting and management reports.
• Conduct margin and profitability analysis across different business units and legal entities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Finance and the business to improve reporting quality and financial visibility.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in financial processes and reporting.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as an FP&A Specialist, Financial Analyst, or similar finance role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
• Experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience supporting month-end close activities across multiple legal entities.
• Comfortable interacting with commercial teams and challenging or validating financial results.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Dutch is considered an advantage.

• Experience with complex reporting environments.
