Overview
A Local Authority in the North West is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join their Food and Health and Safety Team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team that manages a wide variety of premises and a diverse workload.
Role Duties
As part of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting food safety inspections of Grade C and D premises and re-visits.
- Responding to customer service requests and investigating complaints related to poor food hygiene practices.
- Completing inspection reports, assigning food hygiene ratings, and preparing schedules of work for food business operators.
- Providing advice to businesses on improving hygiene standards and updating customers on outcomes.
Requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Be EHORB registered.
- Have experience conducting food hygiene inspections and responding to service requests.
- Possess relevant experience in food standards and health and safety (preferred).
- Be available for an immediate start.
