Job Title: Senior Family Solicitor (Private Family) – Maternity Cover
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our team on a 9-month maternity cover. This is a part-time, largely remote role suited to a confident practitioner who can manage a private family caseload with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of private family matters independently
- Advise on divorce, financial remedies, and private children matters
- Handle pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Liaise with and brief counsel where required
- Conduct occasional client meetings (in person as needed)
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE in private family law
- Proven ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Strong experience in divorce and financial matters
- Advocacy experience desirable but not essential
Logistics:
- 9-month maternity cover
- Start date: Early to late May
- Part-time: 1–2 days per week (9:00am–5:30pm)
- Primarily remote, with occasional client visits required
