Job Description

My Local Authority Client based in the West Midlands is currently looking for an interim Estates Surveyor on an initial 6-month contract with a likely view to extend.

They are looking for a Surveyor who is happy with hybrid working. This role will be focused on Land acquisitions, and general practice surveying.

Paying up to £350 p/d for the ideal candidate. MRICS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Formulating and implementing Council’s Asset and Transport Strategy
• Land Acquisitions on sites for mixed use: highways, rail, property, infrastructure
• Experience managing and dealing with external consultants
• Experience dealing with Compulsory Purchase Orders
• General Practice surveying with a mixed portfolio: limited residential, some industrial and commercial.
• You will be working remotely with occasional site visits as per a hybrid working pattern agreed by you and the Hiring Manager.
