We’re working with a Local Authority in East Anglia seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to support their property team on a 6-month contract.
This role will focus on driving forward key estates management activity across a diverse portfolio while supporting wider asset strategy goals.
The Role Will Involve:
Managing a wide range of landlord and tenant matters
Handling lease events, rent reviews, and arrears negotiations
Overseeing general estate functions, including lettings and inspections
About You:
MRICS qualified – essential
Strong estates management background, with the ability to work independently
Previous experience in the public sector or local government is advantageous, but not a requirement
Confident in managing stakeholders and property-related negotiations
Working Setup:
Mostly remote with occasional office attendance (1 day/week)
Flexible working arrangements available – both part-time and full-time applicants considered
Office located within easy reach of major transport links
