About the Client:
Our client is a leading engineering company who specialise in all aspects of Infrastructure and Construction projects, operating predominantly in the maritime and energy industries and working with major clients.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced freelance Eplan (and specifically eBuild) specialist to work very closely with the team lead of electrical designs. This role is to modify existing drawings and also to build out the macros for eBuild which they are implementing at the moment (3rd party implementing, this is to ensure it is to the clients standards). This is an initial 3 month freelance contract to modify, with the potential to extend for large projects in their pipeline and build new drawings from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make modifications to existing drawings in Eplan based on changes to design/the site of existing electrical drawings.
- Work closely with the team lead of the electrical design team, staying in communication and acting as their “right hand”.
- Not all drawings that need modification are made in Eplan, so you will have to convert them using Autocad or a similar tool, before uploading them into Eplan to make the modifications to the existing electrical drawings.
- If the opportunity presents itself, you may also design new electrical drawings from scratch, there are some large projects upcoming where they may need you to leave (this would extend the contract and you would be creating new electrical drawings.
- Support on eBuild implementation, this is being rolled out and a 3rd party implementer will help do the majority, but the client would you to support on their side, ensuring the 3rd party are meeting the needs set-out by the client.
- Ensure set up of eBuild is correct – Access and build the correct macros for eBuild.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience modifying electrical drawings on Eplan.
- Experience with eBuild.
- English speaking.

Rate type: Hourly rate
Working hours: 40 hours/week.
Remote Working: up to 1 day of remote work per week, the other 4 days onsite.
