Overview:
One of Vivid Resourcing’s Local Authority clients in the East Midlands is seeking a Environmental Protection Officer to join their team for 6 months (option to extend).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contaminated land, air quality, private water supplies, and industrial processes
- Investigate statutory nuisance complaints and pollution-related issues
- Advise planning and licensing teams
- Conduct inspections, investigate complaints, and take necessary actions
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in local government or regulatory settings
- Strong knowledge of contaminated land, air quality, water supply, and pollution control
- Excellent organisational skills to manage a varied workload.
