Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our project team on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, planning, and execution of the glass production factory’s construction phase, ensuring that all electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all electrical engineering activities on-site.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review and approve technical drawings, material specifications, and construction methods.
- Monitor construction progress, perform site inspections, and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and documentation related to civil works.
- Contribute to problem-solving and value-engineering processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to Romanian and EU construction regulations and environmental standards.
Requirements
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in large-scale industrial or factory construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, foundations, and reinforced concrete works.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
Essential
- Demonstrated experience managing or executing industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project documentation, quality control, and safety standards.
Desirable
- Prior experience with manufacturing or process industry facilities.
- Familiarity with sustainability and energy-efficient construction practices.
- Proficiency in English.
