About the Client:
Our client is a well-established company located in Northern Antwerp, currently executing a strategic ERP transformation. They are transitioning from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to play a key role in the migration project from NAV to Business Central. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand current processes, translate requirements into functional solutions, and ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead functional workshops to gather and analyze business requirements
· Translate business needs into functional specifications within Business Central
· Map and optimize existing NAV processes to Business Central functionalities
· Configure core modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, etc.)
· Support data migration validation from a functional perspective
· Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT)
· Train end-users and provide post-go-live support
· Act as the bridge between business and technical teams
Candidate Requirements:
· Strong experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 Business Central
· Solid background with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (highly preferred)
· Proven experience in ERP migration or implementation projects
· Strong understanding of finance and/or supply chain processes
· Ability to engage with stakeholders and lead workshops independently
· Dutch (native/fluent) is mandatory
· Good command of English
Contract Details
Location: Northern Antwerp (Belgium)
Duration: 6–12 months (with possible extension)
Rate: Competitive freelance daily rate (depending on experience)
