Role Overview:
For a leading financial services organization in Brussels, we are looking for a Freelance Functional Analyst to support digital initiatives focused on B2C, e-commerce, and Customer Journey Enhancement (CJE).
You will act as the bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements while ensuring smooth collaboration with development and architecture teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
· Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
· Collaborate closely with development and architecture teams to validate feasibility and ensure alignment
· Facilitate workshops and discussions to clarify requirements and define solutions
· Support the preparation and execution of test cases and UAT activities
· Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
· Contribute to continuous improvement of digital customer journeys
· Work on projects related to B2C platforms, e-commerce, and customer experience optimization
Candidate Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Functional Analyst in a complex environment
· Strong experience in gathering and translating business requirements
· Experience working closely with development and architecture teams
· Solid understanding of digital environments (B2C, e-commerce, customer journeys)
· Experience with testing and test case preparation
· Strong analytical and communication skills
· Comfortable working in an Agile environment
