My client is an AI-powered legal and compliance technology company building software that helps fast-growing technology businesses navigate complex regulatory requirements without slowing down innovation.
Your work will directly power systems that answer legal questions, draft contracts, populate compliance registers, and run structured risk assessments.
What My Client’s Looking For –
- Strong experience with Python and modern ML / AI frameworks
- Hands-on experience shipping products using LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, or local/open-source models)
- Solid understanding of embeddings, RAG, retrieval, data pipelines, and model evaluation
- A pragmatic engineering mindset, comfortable balancing API-based solutions with custom implementations where necessary
- Curiosity about legal and compliance domains; no legal background required, but a genuine interest in automating complex decision-making
- Experience building agentic or multi-step reasoning systems
- Familiarity with vector databases, knowledge graphs, or structured retrieval
- Exposure to regulated or high-trust domains (legal, finance, security, healthcare, etc.)
