Overview
We are seeking an experienced Delta-V Commissioning Engineer to support a pharmaceutical project in County Tipperary, Ireland. This is a full-time, on-site freelance contract with an initial duration of 12 months. The successful candidate will play a key role in commissioning activities within a regulated pharmaceutical environment, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and brought into operation in line with project and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Execute commissioning activities for DeltaV DCS systems within a pharmaceutical facility.
Support commissioning, start-up, and functional testing of automation and control systems.
Work closely with engineering, validation, and project teams to ensure systems meet project specifications and compliance standards.
Participate in system walkdowns, punch list management, and issue resolution.
Review and execute commissioning documentation including test scripts and procedures.
Ensure all activities comply with site safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Proven experience commissioning DeltaV control systems in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
Previous experience working on API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) projects.
Ability to work full-time on-site in County Tipperary.
Irish resident or EU passport holder with the right to work in Ireland.
Strong understanding of commissioning processes within GMP pharmaceutical facilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
