Role Overview
As a Data Scientist you will design, build, and optimize analytical models and data products that improve marketing decision-making. The role focuses on incrementality testing, marketing mix modeling (MMM), causal analysis, and value-based bidding. Working closely with marketers and data engineers, the Data Scientist role will translate business questions into scalable, future-proof analytical solutions and deliver insights that drive measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Design, execute, and analyze incrementality tests and experiments, including developing standardized testing frameworks
Build, maintain, and enhance marketing mix models and causal inference models to support budget allocation and channel optimization
Translate business questions into clear hypotheses, analytical approaches, and decision-ready recommendations
Present insights and findings to stakeholders and guide discussions on implications and next steps
Collaborate with marketers and data engineers to implement scalable analytical solutions
Apply best practices in software development, including version control, code reviews, and testing, to ensure quality and reliability
Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement of measurement and analytics methodologies
Requirements
Essential
University-level education and analytical thinking
2–5 years of experience applying data science in a commercial environment, preferably in marketing analytics
Strong experience using Python for data analysis and modeling (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib)
Solid understanding of experimental design and causal inference, including incrementality testing
Ability to translate analytical insights into clear, actionable business recommendations
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
Proactive, structured, and results-oriented mindset with end-to-end ownership
Desirable
Experience optimizing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, DBT)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production-grade analytics workflows
