Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful insights, with a strong focus on Power BI reporting, data pipelines, and data modelling. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and SQL
• Build and optimize data models for reporting and analytics
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business needs
• Integrate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, APIs, flat files, etc.)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
• Perform data transformation and cleansing to support analytics use cases
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize query performance and improve data processing efficiency
• Document data flows, models, and processes

Candidate Requirements:
 

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst in a complex environment
• Strong experience in gathering and translating business requirements
• Experience working closely with development and architecture teams
• Solid understanding of digital environments (B2C, e-commerce, customer journeys)
• Experience with testing and test case preparation
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment

Location: Kortrijk
Duration: 12 Months (+ extensions)
Rate: Negotiable – based off experience
