We are looking for a Freelance Data Architect to support our client in Luxembourg. This role will focus on developing data strategy and roadmaps, blending technical expertise with business acumen. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with the Microsoft Azure stack, as well as knowledge of SAP and AI technologies being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine the data strategy and road-map aligned with business goals.
- Design and implement data architecture solutions leveraging the Microsoft Azure stack, ensuring they meet both technical and business requirements.
- Conduct assessments of current data environments and recommend improvements to enhance data quality, accessibility, and security.
- Develop and document data models, data governance frameworks, and best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, educate stakeholders on data capabilities, and drive data-centric initiatives.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business users, ensuring that data solutions effectively support strategic objectives.
- Stay current with industry trends, particularly in Microsoft Stack and AI, to inform data strategy and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on data strategy and road-map development.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Familiarity with SAP data systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote work.
Contract Details:
- Contract duration: Initial 1 year contract – Likely Extension
- Work schedule: 2-3 days per week on-site in Luxembourg.
