Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives across multiple long-term projects (12 months minimum). The ideal candidate is an autonomous, technically strong analyst with experience sourcing and processing public and open-source data, working with 3rd-party and social-media datasets, and fine-tuning existing machine-learning models (not building from scratch).
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Crawling
- Design and maintain pipelines for crawling and extracting data from public websites and open-source sources.
- Ensure compliance with data-use policies and robust documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related fields (minimum 12 months of relevant hands-on work required).
- Proven experience with web crawling, public-source data extraction, and open-source datasets.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience fine-tuning ML models (e.g., NLP, classification, embeddings).
- Cloud experience with GCP.
- Strong SQL skills, ideally PostgreSQL.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
