Mechanical QC Inspector – Data Center Project (Paris, France)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to join a major data center construction project in Paris. This role is open exclusively to freelancers who are European residents and have proven experience in mechanical systems within mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and quality checks on mechanical installations (HVAC, piping, chilled water systems, etc.) to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Review and validate mechanical drawings, method statements, and QA/QC documentation.
- Monitor installation activities, identify non-conformances, and oversee corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all mechanical works.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed reports for the client and project team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical QC within data center projects (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and European standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).
- Must be a freelancer and resident of an EU country.
- Relevant certifications in mechanical QA/QC or engineering background preferred.
