About the Role
As a CSA Construction Supervisor, you will take a hands-on leadership role in planning, coordinating, and supervising all Civil, Architectural, and Structural activities. You will work closely with the HSE Advisor, Project Manager, and CSA Project Engineer to ensure safety, quality, and progress are tightly managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the execution of all CSA project activities.
- Deliver daily task briefings to the project team.
- Review, update, and approve task-specific method statements and assist with risk assessments.
- Identify High-Risk and Extra High-Risk Activities, working with project stakeholders to manage them effectively.
- Record, report, and escalate all health and safety observations.
- Ensure high quality and workmanship across all CSA activities.
- Support the CSA Project Engineer in managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Conduct quality audits on subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure adequate competent labour and plant are available to meet milestones.
- Maintain project documentation and site records.
- Liaise directly with the client site manager and key stakeholders.
- Participate in weekly progress and monthly project review meetings.
- Escalate site, programme, quality, safety, or commercial issues to senior management.
- Monitor site setup, housekeeping, and overall site standards.
- Assess and record daily activities and report planned vs. actual progress.
- Identify events with commercial impact and support early warning notices.
- Maintain clear communication between client teams, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
- Support coordination with local authorities and external stakeholders when required.
- Keep a detailed site diary and assist with daily reporting.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience supervising CSA activities on major infrastructure or energy projects.
- Strong understanding of CSA methods, sequencing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and quality documentation.
- Strong familiarity with ITPs, audits, and site quality processes.
- Experience managing subcontractors and on-site resources.
