Cost Controller – Medical Sector
Location: Mechelen, Belgium
Work Pattern: 3 days on-site / 2 days remote
Contract: Initial 6-month contract
Start Date: February
Languages: English required (Dutch and/or French a strong plus)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to support financial oversight within the medical sector. This role plays a key part in ensuring effective cost management, budget control, and compliance with Belgian regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost controlling across operations
- Overseeing budgets and monitoring financial performance
- Projecting costs and identifying financial risks and savings
- Managing payroll-related costs and broader business expenses
- Ensuring compliance with Belgian cost and labour regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the medical or nursing home sector
- Strong knowledge of Belgian law related to costs and payroll
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Solid understanding of payroll and operational cost structures
- HR-related knowledge is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and on-site as required
