We are currently working with a Local Authority in the Midlands who are seeking an experienced Locum Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to support their legal team on a short-term basis.

The Role:
You will be responsible for advising on a range of contracts and procurement matters, supporting ongoing projects and providing general legal assistance to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on public sector contracts and procurement matters

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements

  • Supporting on procurement processes and compliance

  • Providing general legal advice to internal stakeholders

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor with strong contracts and procurement experience

  • Previous local authority/public sector experience is highly desirable

  • Able to work autonomously and manage workload effectively

  • Available to start immediately

Contract Details:

  • Location: Midlands (fully remote)

  • Start: ASAP

  • Duration: Initial 2-month contract

  • Working Pattern: 2 days per week
