We are currently working with a Local Authority in the Midlands who are seeking an experienced Locum Contracts & Procurement Lawyer to support their legal team on a short-term basis.
The Role:
You will be responsible for advising on a range of contracts and procurement matters, supporting ongoing projects and providing general legal assistance to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
Advising on public sector contracts and procurement matters
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
Supporting on procurement processes and compliance
Providing general legal advice to internal stakeholders
About You:
Qualified Solicitor with strong contracts and procurement experience
Previous local authority/public sector experience is highly desirable
Able to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
Available to start immediately

Location: Midlands (fully remote)
Start: ASAP
Duration: Initial 2-month contract
Working Pattern: 2 days per week
