About the Client:
Our client is focussed on providing services for major datacenter builds across Europe, working with the largest clients globally in order to deliver state-of-the-art datacenters.
Role Overview:
We are urgently seeking a Construction Manager to co-ordinate all subcontractors and oversee the next phase of the build relating to installation of cable trays, cable pulling and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Join the project building a Microsoft datacenter (post structure build), acting as the Construction Manager for the next phase of the project relating to the installation of cable trays, cable pulling and HVAC systems.
- Co-ordinate all sub-contractors and manage the activities of all people onsite
- Take care of quality processes together with the Quality Manager.
- Provide and stay on top of all attachments surrounding the project, ensuring all documentation is in order.
- The main task is co-ordinating daily activities (scripts), sorting the daily checklist, what needs to be done, following up on the checklist to ensure all is complete, reporting back where not etc…
- Support the handling of issues onsite, update/co-ordinate with all parties involved on the client.
- Utilise your experience working on datacenter projects and your understanding of the process to ensure all is done, adapting to any delays/issues together with the team, working together to provide solutions to ensure the project is completed to high standards and on-time.
- Ensuring the project is delivered relating to the installation of cable trays, cable pulling, air conditioning installation, balancing of ducts, dampers etc.. (80% E&I, 20% Mechanical).
- Participate in and hold daily stand-up meetings as well as update meetings, ensuring all parties involved are working together and adapting where necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience as a Construction Manager/Supervisor on major datacenter projects.
- Background/experience on projects relating to E&I phases.
- English speaking.
