Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A Preferred) – Contract Role

A new contract opportunity has arisen with a local authority in Essex for a Registered Building Inspector, ideally holding Class 2A registration.

Role Overview

This position involves carrying out site inspections and plan assessments across a range of residential and domestic projects throughout the region.

Key Requirements

• Must hold valid Registered Building Inspector (RBI) status (Class 2A preferred)
• Proven experience within building control
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to travel to sites across Essex

Contract Details

• Immediate start available, or upon completion of notice period (must be available within 4 weeks)
• Full time position, with part time hours available 
• Hybrid working arrangement 

Additional Information

• Site inspections must be carried out during standard working hours
• Weekend inspections are not available due to the nature of the role
