We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee civil works related to oil & gas storage tank projects in Hamburg. The successful candidate will ensure all civil construction activities are executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all civil works on-site, including foundations, earthworks, concrete structures, and associated infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, resolving technical issues promptly.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow.
- Prepare daily reports on work progress, manpower, and materials.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to HSE standards.
- Manage site resources efficiently to meet project timelines.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in civil supervision within Oil & Gas or heavy industrial projects; tank farm experience preferred.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, standards, and safety practices.
- Languages: English required; German language skills advantageous.
- Other: Ability to work in Hamburg for the duration of the contract; valid work permit if applicable.
