A great County Council client of mine are looking for their new Chief Financial Officer / S151 and that could be you!

The role of the Chief Financial Officer will mean leading on strategic direction and operational grip of finance across the Council.

It is important that understand financial management and can deliver financial plans that balance the needs of the Council within the available funding.

You will also be responsible for around 100 staff, who handle an annual budget of over £352m. Here, the aim will be to keep close control of the finances.

To apply you must:

• Have worked at this or a similar level in a UK Local Authority
• Be willing to go into the office twice a week

You will not be considered if you do not have the relevant experience
