Job Description

My Local Authority client based in East Anglia is looking for an interim Capital Build Project Manager to join the council on an initial 6 month basis, with a high chance to be extended.

This role will lead the project management of some of the key projects with their Towns’ Fund Programme, working on commercial buildings. There are around 4 active construction projects so the successful candidate will have to come in and hit the ground running. The role will be working closely with and managing contractors, so a good knowledge of listed buildings is ideal.

Essential:

• MCIOB or Relevant construction qualifications
• Construction experience in public sector
• Ability to travel into the office at least 2 days per week.

Desirable

• RICS or Surveying background
• Knowledge of Listed Buildings
