Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant to support a customer based in West-Flanders. The consultant will play a key role in full-cycle implementations and continuous optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a strong focus on financial processes integrated across the full operational flow (sales, production, warehousing, and new feature rollouts).
This is a hands-on, stakeholder-facing role requiring both strong functional finance expertise and end-to-end ERP implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and support full implementation lifecycle projects within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
· Guide implementations from sales through to production and warehousing, ensuring financial integration throughout
· Intake and onboard new customers, analysing their current business and financial processes
· Analyse and optimise financial flows, including GL, AP, AR, costing, inventory valuation, and reporting
· Translate business requirements into functional solutions within Business Central
· Configure and implement new features and process improvements
· Work closely with key stakeholders across finance, operations, and supply chain
· Deliver workshops and training sessions to key users
· Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement guidance
· Ensure best practice alignment and scalable system design
Candidate Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant
· Strong end-to-end implementation experience (from analysis to go-live and optimisation)
· Deep understanding of financial modules and their integration with:
- Sales
- Production
- Warehousing
- Inventory management
· Experience analysing complex financial flows within manufacturing or distribution environments
· Ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders and key users
· Strong workshop facilitation and training skills
· Hands-on configuration experience within Business Central
· Excellent communication skills in Dutch (mandatory)
