A leading European energy market organisation operating within a highly regulated environment, responsible for the development and oversight of large-scale market and transparency platforms.
Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will support the ongoing evolution, compliance, and optimisation of core IT platforms. The role focuses on translating regulatory and stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable solutions while ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate regulatory and stakeholder requirements into clear, implementable platform requirements
• Perform compliance and gap analysis and define improvement actions
• Define and manage business requirements, user stories, and change initiatives
• Maintain functional documentation and development roadmaps
• Collaborate with delivery partners to ensure alignment with business expectations
• Validate solution designs, specifications, and test results against requirements
• Support delivery, testing phases, and stakeholder decision-making
Candidate Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within the energy sector
• Strong experience working with regulatory-driven IT platforms
• Proven expertise in requirements engineering and gap analysis
• Knowledge of BPMN, UML, XML-based data models, and SDLC best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Contract Details:
Location: Brussels / Hybrid (2 days remote per week)
Duration: 12 months+
