About the Client:
Our client is a huge multinational client with a variety of different companies/entities in their portfolio/ownership.
Role Overview:
We are urgently seeking a freelance Azure Engineer with expertise of integrating/connecting applications/solutions into Azure environments with the D365 implementation program the main priority, and a secondary project to make the global Azure environment more robust/secure through your knowledge of Azure best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Join the global Azure Integration team for a large client with a wide range of companies/entities in their portfolio (under their ownership at group level/global teams) to connect/integrate D365 BC & CE into each company/entities specific and varying operational systems (all running on the same global Azure environment).
- Use your understanding of how best to integrate/connect applications in Azure environment to analyse the operational systems (can be 100’s of applications for each entity) of each entity to ensure the D365 layer is integrated in the best way possible to each application at each entity.
- There is a large range of differing applications per entity (such as SAAS solutions) which D365 will have to be integrated/connected with (global blueprint for D365 integration and Azure environment) and so will have differing best ways to integrate/connect with each one (such as using API’s, Azure Service Bus etc…).
- After analysing the best way to integrate D365 with each operational application/system (such as putting O2C module into the operational system) you will then do the integration, testing it etc.. until operational (and then you’ll move on to the next integration of which there are 100’s to do across the team).
- Outside of the global D365 integration work, and only when there are no integrations to do (can happen during certain moment) as a secondary project you will re-engineer the global azure architecture/set-up and use your knowledge of Azure best practices to make a more robust and secure global Azure environment (but your core task will be for the global integration work).
- Support with any Azure related project/incidents where required (rare).
- All deployments of D365 will follow the same blueprint globally, the difference will be the operational systems of each entity and how to integrate/connect with each one.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience integrating solutions like D365 into existing operational systems running on an Azure environment.
- Experience working with Azure Service Bus, API’s or other integration tools.
- Good understanding of general Azure Infrastructure Architecture & best practices.
- English speaking.
