About the Client:
Our client supports organisations across Belgium and the Netherlands in structuring and delivering complex transformation initiatives. Atlassian tooling plays a central role in enabling portfolio visibility, governance, and execution. Due to increasing demand and upcoming Q4 projects, additional senior capacity is required to support customers and avoid delays in delivery.
Role Overview:
The Senior Functional Analyst will operate at the intersection of portfolio management, transformation, and Atlassian tooling. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to translate strategy into structured portfolios, using Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, JSM) to enable transparency, prioritisation, and decision-making. This is a senior, business-facing role with regular C-level interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support portfolio management across strategic and transformation initiatives
• Translate business strategy into roadmaps, priorities, and delivery structures
• Use Atlassian tooling to model portfolios, programmes, and dependencies
• Act as a bridge between C-level, business stakeholders, and delivery teams
• Support business and digital transformation programmes
• Prepare and present insights for executive and senior management
• Facilitate workshops around prioritisation, governance, and operating models
• Ensure Atlassian tools are aligned with business and portfolio objectives
Candidate Requirements:
• Senior experience as a Functional Analyst / Business Analyst
• Strong background in portfolio management and transformation environments
• Proven experience communicating with C-level and senior stakeholders
• Solid functional understanding of Atlassian tooling (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align or similar)
• Ability to translate business needs into structured tooling and processes
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical, structured, and pragmatic mindset
• Dutch required (customer-facing role)
