You’ll carry out needs assessments and build personalised housing plans that reflect each client’s goals and circumstances, then provide practical, ongoing support to help them sustain their tenancy once settled. This includes monitoring progress and adjusting your approach where needed, along with keeping accurate records in line with organisational policy.

The role is initially based on-site five days a week, moving to a hybrid pattern of three days on-site and two days remote once established.

Main responsibilities

  • Support single individuals transitioning from temporary accommodation into stable, long-term housing
  • Conduct needs assessments and create personalised housing plans to meet client goals
  • Collaborate with local authorities, housing associations, and partner agencies to provide holistic support
  • Offer practical advice and ongoing assistance to clients to sustain tenancies successfully
  • Monitor progress, review plans, and adjust interventions to promote lasting housing stability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with organisational policies

Requirements

  • Experience supporting individuals with housing needs, ideally within a homelessness, move-on or tenancy sustainment setting
  • Confident conducting needs assessments and developing personalised support plans
  • Strong partnership-working skills, with experience liaising with local authorities, housing associations and support agencies
  • Good record-keeping skills and comfortable working to organisational policies and procedures

The offer

  • Competitive rate
  • 3-month contract
