About the Role:
Vivid’s client in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced ASB Officer for an initial 12-month contract, with the potential to extend depending on performance.
You will be responsible for delivering a proactive and responsive anti-social behaviour service across our estates, ensuring safe and sustainable communities for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of ASB complaints from initial report through to resolution
Investigate reports of nuisance behaviour, gathering and recording evidence in line with legislation and policy
Work closely with residents, support agencies, and partner organisations to resolve issues effectively, including mediation where appropriate
Prepare case files and work with legal teams to take enforcement action when necessary
Conduct interviews, obtain witness statements, and provide victim/witness support throughout investigations
Develop and maintain strong community relationships to reduce ASB and promote resident engagement
Carry out joint visits with partner agencies, including police and community safety teams
About You:
Previous experience in an ASB-focused role within housing or local authority
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement powers
Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills
Confident in partnership working and supporting residents through challenging situations
